In 2017, BWM began the construction of the Shepherd’s House Pastor Training Facility and construction is almost finished. The last item to complete is the dormitory, pictured above. We are seeking your help as we raise the funds to put the finishing touches on this incredible facility before our staff conference in May. We are offering multiple levels of donation opportunities and all funds will go directly to the facility.

This facility is one of the first of its kind and will be used by BWM and other partner organizations to bring biblical training to Maasai Leaders from Massai Leaders as they work to fulfill the Great Commission in their own communities.
The conference center portion of the project was completed in early 2018 and BWM hosted the first Maasai Key Man Conference. The teaching was greatly received and covered topics ranging from Culture and the Gospel, The Pastor as a Disciple Maker, and Biblical Discipleship. Additionally, as the attendees take a close look at their own culture through a Biblical lens, historic practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Polygamy, and others were revealed to be in opposition to the Gospel and must be stopped.
Once the Dormitory is complete, the Center will be able to provide room and board for up to 40 different students at a time as different teachers come in and bring training to an area that has had so little biblical teaching in the past. Unfortunately, this lack of training has led to incredible distortions and misinterpretations of the Gospel. Fortunately, this facility will be a place in which Maasai Leaders will be taught a Biblical Gospel and then trained how to go out and reproduce this message within their own church, village, and country.
We would like to thank all of the partners and supporters, from the American teams that helped with the construction; from Prestonwood Baptist Church, to New Beginnings Baptist Church who sent a team to help with construction, as well as all of the other individuals who donated their time and resources to this incredible project. Without all of you, this project would never have been possible.
Finally, we ask that you continue to partner with us in Prayer for the fruit that will be produced by this facility. We thank God for getting us this far and ask for His continued guidance and blessing as He raises up the next generation of Maasai Leaders to win their people to the Body of Christ.
